This pairs exceptionally well with a variety of rich and flavourful dishes. Its robust body and dark fruit flavours make it a perfect match for grilled meats such as beef steaks, lamb chops, and pork ribs, while its complex spice notes complement hearty stews like beef bourguignon and lamb stew. The wine’s well-integrated tannins and smooth texture are enhanced by aged cheeses such as Cheddar, Gouda, and Parmesan. For a vegetarian option, mushroom risotto and grilled portobello mushrooms bring out the wine's earthy undertones. Enjoy at a slightly cooler temperature, around 16-18°C, and this will benefit from decanting to fully reveal its aromatic and flavour complexity.

The name "Asa Nisi Masa" is inspired by a phrase from Federico Fellini's film 8½, symbolizing a magical and whimsical approach to the art of winemaking.
