WINE COOLER DELIVERY
Coolersomm offer free delivery across the UK including Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey within 2-4 working days on the majority of wine fridges (See postcode exclusions below). You will be able to choose the delivery date to suit your schedule after purchase.
Each wine fridge product page has it's own section on delivery with some wine fridges available next day and some bespoke products, manufactured on order, taking longer.
If your wine fridge needs to be taken up or down flights of stairs or if you know of any obstacles to delivery that could impede the team like narrow roads leading to the property or stairs, please inform us either before ordering or shortly after when we will confirm with you any particulars of your delivery. If you live in a remote or obstructed area, or if the unit requires special assistance up stairs this can result in a day or two extra lead time.

Delivery times - Delivery times vary by product and are noted on the product pages of this website. Typically wine fridges are delivered within 2-4 working days of their order if already in the UK but this timing can be extended by a few days if you need a special delivery going up or down a flight of stairs or if a smaller van has to employed to reach your location. If the wine fridge is being imported from Europe the delivery time can take up to 15 days. You will be notified of the estimated delivery time and kept up to date with movements of your wine fridge via email or text message.
We deliver between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday. If you need a special delivery slot, AM or PM for example, this can be provided for an additional surcharge of £45+VAT. If you require a special delivery time please contact us with your booking reference number to arrange.
You will be advised of the date of the delivery in advance and on the day of delivery your delivery driver will call to give notice of their arrival.
All delivery ETAs are estimates only, customer's need to make themselves available between 8am-6pm on the day of delivery, if a delivery is running late you will be advised but must remain available to take the delivery, if not failed delivery charges will apply. Failed deliveries are chargeable up to the value of £135+VAT.
If booking a kitchen fitter or carpenter to install your appliance we strongly recommend waiting until the goods have arrived on site and have been checked over and are in good condition before booking their time. Coolersomm will not be held liable for any costs incurred for any cancellation of tradespeople due to a late delivery or damaged appliance.
Postcode Exclusions - For wine cooler deliveries there are some postcodes which require an extra delivery cost. The postcodes are all AB postcodes, FK17-FK21, GY, HS, IV21-24, IV26-27, IV40-56, IM, JE, KA27-28, KW0-KW15, KW15-17, PA20-23, PA28-31, PA34 5*, PA 34 4*, PA41-78, PA80, PH3-10, PH11-32, PH33-50, SI, TR21-25 and ZE. If you require delivery to these postcodes please contact us before placing the order so we can confirm the cost of delivery.
All of Northern Ireland and Ireland wine cooler deliveries are subject to either a £54/£90 (depending on over counter or full size) delivery charge and Ireland £55/£95 (depending on over counter or full size). Shipping costs will be displayed at check out.
Obstructed or remote deliveries - If you require your wine cooler to be delivered to an address which is difficult to access in any way (narrow roads/staircases etc) for a standard 18 tonne lorry please advise us in advance so we can arrange the best solution.
If it is necessary to use special equipment (like a stair-walker for example) or hire a smaller van (like a luton van as opposed to the 18 tonne lorry) then a surcharge for delivery may be levied of up to £160+VAT. Customers with obstructed or remote deliveries will always be informed of the potential for extra fees including their cost before delivery if they have informed us beforehand of the potential difficulties and are under no obligation to keep the order if they do not accept the incremental delivery fees.
Non UK and Ireland deliveries - Deliveries outside the UK and Ireland are kerbside only.
Signing for your wine fridge - When signing for your wine fridge on delivery, ensure the fridge is in perfect condition.
We will not be able to accept any claims for damaged items if you have signed the delivery paperwork and accepted goods.
Please take the following steps:
1. If our delivery team have not already done so, please take the item out of its packaging (do not just look at the packaging)
2. Inspect goods carefully (all the sides, corners and doors if applicable)
3. If there is no damage, accept and sign
4. If there is damage do not accept or sign (you can instead write Delivery refused as item damaged)
Once goods are signed for we cannot be held responsible for any damages and the customer is required to prove to us the damage was there before delivery.
Please make sure that anyone who might accept a delivery for you understands this, please also make sure the person who is signing for goods on your behalf is over 18 and if its your 'acceptor' you are obliged to make sure they know they have to inspect the goods properly before signing.
Damaged Items - We endeavour to deliver your wine fridge in perfect working order without defect. It is important that you inspect the item on delivery and if you notice visual damage do not sign for the wine fridge and contact us immediately for a resolution. It will be difficult for CoolerSomm to claim damage during transit if you've signed for damage goods.
Unsuccessful deliveries - It is the responsibility of the client to be present for the delivery and sign for the goods. The date of the delivery will be notified in advance and a 4 hour time window estimate given on the day, if the client is not present an aborted delivery fee of £160+VAT will be charged and the delivery not re-attempted until the fee is paid.
If the delivery is unsuccessful due to inaccessibility of location there may also be a delivery abort fee of £160+VAT but the customer will be warned of any suspected delivery issues beforehand and given the choice of accepting a potential aborted delivery.

FINE WINE DELIVERY
Our Mainland UK delivery services are provided by UPS who operate a next working day delivery policy. We do not deliver fine wine to Ireland or Northern Ireland.
This service is free for orders over £150 and priced at £9.99 for orders under £150 and comes with a tracking link.
UPS will provide an estimated hour time slot for your delivery.
Delivery will require a signature and can not be made to anyone under 18.
Our wine is packed in protective, recyclable pulp-safe packaging which significantly reduces the chance of breakages.
Customers should provide a home or work delivery address where they are likely to be in during the day. If you’re not in when the courier arrives, they’ll leave a contact card. Please call the number on the card to arrange a suitable time to re-deliver free of charge. Customer's who fail to arrange a re-delivery will have their wine sent back to our warehouse.
We refuse to sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and we, or/and our couriers, reserve the right to ask for a form of ID, or to not deliver the goods, if we are unsure about the recipient’s age.
Alcohol will not be delivered to anyone who appears intoxicated.

GLASSWARE, CORAVIN & ACCESSORIES DELIVERY
Our Mainland UK delivery services are provided by UPS and come with a tracking link. We use tracked services who will provide you with a time slot for your delivery. We will provide you with your tracking order ID via email once the item has been registered for delivery.
Deliveries for Northern Ireland, non-mainland UK and some Scottish Highlands postcodes delivery is £9.99.
As we are sending out fragile items we use double wall boxes and insulate all packages to protect the contents with eco-friendly packaging and take every care to ensure your items arrive safely.
However, despite taking all reasonable precautions we know that accidents in transit can occur. Please check the contents of your delivery on arrival, if you notice any issue with your delivery please report this to us immediately along with a photo and we will either refund or replace the item if it has been found to be damaged in transit.
