La Sommeliere Tradition
The La Sommeliere Tradition wine fridges are created to closely align to the traditional conditions of an original wine cave like you may find in a Bordeaux cellar. Although less packed with technology and modern features, this wine fridge will store your wine elegantly and effortlessly for the duration although essential controls are still present including the humidity and temperature controls, UV protections through the door and anti-vibration systems. The tradition range, as they mimic a cellar, are not dual zones and therefore can only keep wine at one temperature and can generally be set between 5-18c although the universal 12c should be chosen if you're cellaring multiple wine types.

The La Sommeliere Service wine fridges have been created for home use, they are elegant, quiet and designed to fit effortlessly into your home. Do I need a Freestanding or Built-in La Sommeliere Wine Fridge?
Most of the La Sommeliere wine fridges are for freestanding use meaning they should not be built into kitchen cabinetry due to needing to vent from the front, back, sides and top. However, La Sommeliere also produces some full-size built-in wine cabinets that can be placed in your kitchen. We generally recommend La Sommeliere for customers who would like a freestanding unit in the home or need a wine cabinet for colder or warmer environments like garages or conservatories as many can cope with temperature fluctuations.
Do I need a Single Zone or Dual Zone La Sommeliere?
Most La Sommeliere wine fridges can be set between 5-20°C. This makes a single zone ideal for those who want to cellar one type of wine over the longer term at a certain temperature like Bordeaux or Burgundy, however, by setting the wine cooler at the universal 12°C you can keep most reds and whites over the long term. It's also possible to use the wine cooler for service if there is only one type of wine you want to keep in the fridge, either red, white or Champagne can be catered for in service by a single zone La Sommeliere.
A dual zone is useful if you want to cellar different wines at different temperatures, want to use part of the fridge for service or just want that degree of flexibility should your wine collection change. Dual zones are more expensive but if you want that versatility then it may well be worth the extra money.
