The ECS31.2Z can hold 29 Bordeaux style bottles of wine at max capacity on its five sliding wooden shelves. Both sections of the wine fridge can be set between 5-20°C with the top section holding 15 bottles of wine and the bottom zone holding 14.
The La Sommeliere service range does a good job at protecting your wine from the four elements that can hurt a wines ability to age, light, heat, humidity and vibration. This wine fridge will protect from sunlight damage with the door's UV protected glass, from sediment disturbing vibrations with the anti-vibration system, from humidity with the constant 60-80% humidity range and from heat by the dual temperature zones, both fitted with audible and visible warning systems. The La Sommeliere ECS31.2Z is a freestanding wine cooler and should not have shelving built around it. Ideally the wine fridge needs 2-3 inches of space around it for ventilation. The unit is not suitable for under-counter use.
