This is due to the solid door, anti-vibration system, temperature controls, carbon filter (which purifies the air), and a consistent humidity range of 50-80%. The APOGEE200 ensures that all natural factors potentially damaging to your wine are mitigated, and it also features a lock and key for added security.
IDEAL FOR HOME OR GARAGE USE
The winter system enables the product to be stored in a garage, and it will safeguard the wines as long as the temperature remains above freezing, thanks to its potent heating element that can also gently heat the unit. With a noise level of only 37dB, this wine cabinet is quieter than many wine coolers intended for kitchen use, making the APOGEE200 a pleasant addition to any household.
The mixed cooling system allows this wine cabinet to be incredibly energy efficient at just 120kWh/annum - this is a reduction of over 50% on some of the older models.
FINE WINE STORAGE
This wine cabinet is versatile enough to mature Champagne, Fortified, Red, or White wine, with a temperature range of 5-20°C. However, for optimal long-term maturation of fine wines, a universal setting of 12°C is recommended. The carbon filter and humidity control also help to preserve the integrity of the labels, corks, and the wine itself.
VINOTAG APP
The APOGEE200 can connect directly to the Vinotag cellar management app available on the App and Google Play stores. This allows you to keep a record of the wines in your cellar and monitor their maturation.

How many bottles will the LA SOMMELIERE APOGEE200 hold?
This wine fridge has the capacity to accommodate up to 185 Bordeaux-style bottles across five semi-sliding wooden shelves. It is also designed to hold larger bottle formats, such as magnums.
To optimize space in your wine cooler, it is advisable to arrange bottles of the same type (such as Bordeaux, Burgundy, or Alsace) on the same shelf.

How do I install this wine cooler?
The La Sommelière APOGEE200 is a freestanding wine cabinet and should not have shelving built around it. Ideally the wine fridge needs 2-3 inches of space around it for ventilation. The unit is not suitable for under-counter use.
