Released in 2023, the retro-design APOGEE range of wine maturation cabinets from La Sommeliere are the most energy efficient units currently in our range of wine maturation cabinets and offer a pleasing aesthetic coupled with the best in modern wine maturation technology being both quiet and economical to run.
All the APOGEE range include a winter system (allowing the units to be placed in outbuildings or garages as well as the home), carbon filters, automatic humidity controls and either solid door or double glazed, UV protected glass doors. They are compatible with the handy, free VINOTAG app to monitor and keep track of your collection.
With remote tracking via the VINOTAG app, you can know the temperatures in your wine fridge via the app and so be alerted to any change of condition in your wine wherever you are in the world. As a dual zone, you can use this wine cabinet totally for wine storage or one half for storage and another for wine service.
Quiet at just 38dB, the APOGEE range represents a leap in technology from the La Sommeliere range who have managed to combine the latest wine cooling technology with economic and ecological friendliness (low energy and noise emissions); all at a very fair price point.

Benefitting from the latest La Sommeliere technology your wine collection is protected from UV light, vibration, heat, bad odours and humidity thanks to the solid door, anti-vibration system, temperature controls, carbon filter (keeps the air clean) and constant humidity range between 50-80%. All the natural elements that could harm your wine collection are protected against with the APOGEE150PV which also benefits from lock and key. With the remote monitoring in the VINOTAG app you can also monitor the conditions of your wine any time of the day from anywhere in the world.
IDEAL FOR HOME OR GARAGE USE
The winter system allows this product to be housed in a garage and as long as temperatures do not reach freezing, the unit will protect the wines as its powerful heating element can gently warm the unit too. Quiet at 38dB, this wine cabinet is less noisy than some wine coolers designed for kitchen use, so the APOGEE150PV will make a welcome addition to any home.
The mixed cooling system allows this wine cabinet to be incredibly energy efficient at just 116kWh/annum - this is a reduction of over 50% on some of the older models.
FINE WINE STORAGE
Whether you need to mature Champagne, Fortified, Red or White wine, this wine cabinet can be set anywhere between 5-20°C although we would recommend setting the cabinet at the universal 12°C for long term fine wine maturation. However, as a dual zone you also have the ability to use part of the wine fridge for service too. This is great for Champagne lovers and a real space saver. The carbon filter and humidity management ensure the quality of the labels and corks also remains pristine as well as the contents in bottle.
VINOTAG APP
The APOGEE145DZ can connect directly to the Vinotag cellar management app available on the App and Google Play stores. This allows you to keep a record of the wines in your cellar and monitor their maturation at any time of the day or night.

How many bottles will the LA SOMMELIERE APOGEE145DZ hold?
This wine cooler can hold up to 143 Bordeaux style bottles on 4 wooden shelves. The fridge can also store larger formats like magnums.
The best way to optimise space in your wine fridge is to stack the same bottle type (Bordeaux or Burgundy or Alsace for example) on the same shelves.

How do I install this wine cooler?
The La Sommeliere APOGEE145DZ is a freestanding wine cabinet and should not have shelving built around it. Ideally the wine fridge needs 2-3 inches of space around it for ventilation. The unit is not suitable for under-counter use.
