EXCELLENT MATURATION CAPABILITIES
The La Sommeliere - 247 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cabinet - APOGEE250DZ replicates the ideal storage conditions of a traditional wine cellar. It is equipped with an anti-vibration system, a humidity regulator (50-80%), and an activated charcoal filter to purify the air. This unit can also function in unheated rooms (as long as the temperature stays above 0°C) due to its winter system, which is designed to adapt to colder environments. The temperature is precisely controlled by an electronic thermometer and the filtration process is closely monitored by the activated charcoal filter and aeration system.
IDEAL FOR HOME OR GARAGE USE
The winter system allows this product to be housed in a garage and as long as temperatures do not reach freezing, the unit will protect the wines as its powerful heating element can gently warm the unit too. Quiet at 39dB, this wine cabinet is less noisy than some wine coolers designed for kitchen use, so the APOGEE250DZ will make a welcome addition to any home.
The mixed cooling system allows this wine cabinet to be incredibly energy efficient at just 138kWh/annum - this is a reduction of over 50% on some of the older models.
FINE WINE STORAGE
Whether you need to mature Champagne, Fortified, Red or White wine, this wine cabinet can be set anywhere between 5-20°C although we would recommend setting the cabinet at the universal 12°C for long term fine wine maturation. This wine cooler can hold up to 247 Bordeaux style bottles on its wooden shelves. The fridge can also store larger formats like magnums.

How do I install this wine cooler?
The La Sommeliere APOGEE250DZ is a freestanding wine cabinet and should not have shelving built around it. Ideally the wine fridge needs 2-3 inches of space around it for ventilation. The unit is not suitable for under-counter use.
