What’s the difference between a tall freestanding wine fridge Vs a tall built-in or tall integrated wine fridge?

How to install a tall wine fridge?
Tall wine cabinets come in three different installation types; freestanding, built-in or integrated. Which one you choose will depend upon the location you've allocated to your tall wine fridge.
Tall Freestanding Wine Fridges
Tall freestanding wine coolers can be placed anywhere around the home, garage, cellar, restaurant or bar. They come in a variety of widths and depths, the only caveat is that they must be allowed to vent the hot air that the act of internal cooling produces. This means there should be around 5cm of space left around the wine fridge in the area it is set up and 30cm above it.
If you'd like to place your tall freestanding wine cooler in a location outside of the home, or somewhere where the ambient temperatures dip below 12°C then you'll need to ensure the wine cooler has a 'winter system'. These can be selected using the filters on this webpage.

Quite the opposite of freestanding units, built-in and integrated units can be placed next to cabinetry in your kitchen or even integrated directly into the kitchen design, raised off the floor and/or with a door of your own design closing on them.
