PRODUCT OVERVIEW
With two temperature zones and winter heating as standard, this wine cooler will protect your wine through daily and seasonal fluctuations in warm or cool climates. The Swisscave WLB-460DFLD-MIX comes with a range of handles, or without a handle, to offer a perfectly centred symmetry for your kitchen, restaurant or bar and can be used as a freestanding or built-in wine cooler. The mahogany display shelving makes this a particularly attractive wine cooler.
The front door is triple glazed UV-resistant, gas-filled, with low energy panes equipped and the two cooling zones offer a wide range of temperatures with the white section offering temperatures between 5 - 16°C and the red section between 9 - 20°C. This range of temperatures allows the fridge to be used for long term storing or service for any type of wine.
This wine fridge has an active carbon filter for longer term storage possibilities plus a lock on the door and an audible alarm if the temperature fluctuates meaning your wine collection is well protected. The anti-vibration shelves also ensure against any longer term wine damage. The "winter heating" function also protects against any dips in temperature in the room housing the wine cooler like a garage or conservatory for example.

How many bottles will the SWISSCAVE WLB-460DFLD-MIX hold?
In 2021 Swisscave released their MIX shelving range and discontinued their Burgundy only range. This mix range has alternating Bordeaux and Burgundy shelving but the design is such that either Bordeaux or Burgundy bottles will fit. This makes the MIX range perfect for those with a collection of Burgundy shaped or Bordeaux shaped bottles or a mix of either.
The best way to optimise space in your wine fridge is to stack the same bottle type (Bordeaux or Burgundy or Alsace for example) on the same shelves.
Can I pay for this wine fridge in instalments?

How do I install this wine cooler?
The Swisscave WLB-460DFLD-MIX is a front venting wine fridge which means it can be used as either a freestanding wine cooler or have shelving around its sides as an undercounter wine fridge and fit neatly into your kitchen or restaurant design.
If you wish to build shelving or cabinets around your wine cooler it is always best to leave a small gap of at least 1cm to the rear of the unit. You will also need to consider that all SWISSCAVE units have a top panel that protrudes around 1.5cms.
