The WL455DF is a front venting wine cooler so perfect for use built in to kitchen carpentry or as freestanding unit anywhere around the home, cellar or garage. This large capacity, lockable wine fridge can accommodate 200 Bordeaux style bottles without shelves and 166 upon all fitted beech shelving.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Superb at protecting your wine collection, the front door is UV protected and the dual cooling zones offer a wide range of temperatures with the white/coolest section ranging between 5 - 16°C and the red/warmer section between 9 - 20°C. These temperature ranges cater for any wine you may wish to serve from Eiswein to Cru Beaujolais to the finest Claret.
This wide range of temperature options also means part of the fridge can be used for long term storage and the other for wine service (or both for either). This wine fridge also has a charcoal filter for longer term storage possibilities.
The ability to purchase this wine cooler both with and without handle allows multiple options for housing the unit as well as offering a beautiful symmetry to your kitchen/restaurant. At just 39 decibels the wine fridge is also quiet.
This wine fridge is ideal for any temperature room but especially useful if your wine fridge storage area can get cold at night or in winter as it has a winter heating function to ensure there are no fluctuations in the temperature your bottles are stored at day or night.

How many bottles will the SWISSCAVE WL455DF hold?
Like most wine cooler producers, capacity sizes are referenced using Bordeaux style bottles. This wine cooler holds 154 wine bottles on it's beech wood shelves.
The design of the Classic Edition range suits those wishing to house a larger capacity of bottles at a lower price as the internal volume contains less shelving. There are two layers of bottles that can fit between each shelf. With all shelves installed you can fit 166 bottles into the wine cooler.
The best way to optimise space in your wine fridge is to stack the same bottle type (Bordeaux or Burgundy or Alsace for example) on the same shelves.
Can I pay for this wine fridge in instalments?

Can I customise this wine fridge to suit my needs?

What is the energy rating of this wine cooler?
Pre March 2021 this wine fridge had an energy efficiency rating of "A+" but with the changes to the efficiency scale this wine fridge now ranks "G". How do I install this wine cooler?
The SWISSCAVE WL455DF is a front venting wine fridge which means it can be used as either a freestanding wine cooler or have shelving around its sides and fit neatly into your kitchen design.
If you wish to build shelving or cabinets around your wine cooler it is always best to leave a small gap of at least 1cm to the rear of the unit. You will also need to consider that all SWISSCAVE units have a top panel that protrudes around 1.5cms.

If you need delivery later than 1-3 days we can hold the unit until a suitable date for up to three months.
On the date of delivery we will give you a time slot when you can expect delivery and the driver will call one hour before arrival.
