This versatile and elegant wine storage cabinet from mQuvée's Velvet range is ideal for those with around 200+ bottles to store as it can hold 239 Bordeaux shaped bottles and and can be built in to your kitchen or used as a free-standing unit anywhere around the home or garage. The interior shelving system can be moved around and extra shelves and boxes purchased to create the ideal configuration for your wine collection.
Inside the wine storage cabinet the temperature can be set between 5 and 22°C. The humidity is automatically maintained at 70%. You can also adjust the humidity level yourself too if storing Champagne or in an area with humidity issues. The unit also features a carbon filter and UV-resistant door, solid door to ensure your wines are correctly stored in optimal conditions, the winter systems allows for use in a garage or cellar.
If the wine cabinet will be built-in, the panel in front of the plinth on the wine storage cabinet can be removed to allow proper air circulation. The wine storage cabinet comes with 4 storage shelves. All shelves can be removed and you can rearrange your cabinet to suit your needs by removing or adding more shelves.

This wine fridge has the capacity, fully shelf mounted, to hold 239 Bordeaux style bottles. The unit comes with 4 shelves but more shelves and wine drawers can be added in any combination the wine enthusiast needs to perfectly match their wine collection.
With one temperature zone that can be set between 5-22°C, the user has great flexibility over both temperature and humidity with independently set humidity controls also available.
This wine fridge also features a carbon filter and UV-resistant door to ensure your wines are correctly stored in optimal conditions. If you’ve decided on a built-in cabinet, the panel in front of the plinth on the wine storage cabinet can be removed to allow proper air circulation. As a free-standing cabinet, it looks best with the panel on.

How many bottles will the Velvet 170 Solid hold?
Like most wine cooler producers, capacity sizes are referenced using Bordeaux style bottles. This wine cooler holds 239 bottles while shelves are full mounted.
The best way to optimise space in your wine fridge is to stack the same bottle type (Bordeaux or Burgundy or Alsace for example) on the same shelves.

Can I customise this wine fridge to suit my needs?
The door can be reversed and the height adjusted by 8cm.
What is the energy rating of this wine cooler?
Pre March 2021 this wine fridge had an energy efficiency rating of "A" but with the changes to the efficiency scale this wine fridge now ranks "G". How do I install this wine cooler?
The mQuvée Velvet 170 Solid is a freestanding or built in wine fridge and vents from a panel at the bottom, front of the wine fridge. This panel should not be obstructed.
