Campogiovanni is a prestigious estate owned by San Felice, located on the southwest slope of Montalcino, one of the most favoured areas for growing Sangiovese grapes due to its ideal climate and soil conditions. The estate is committed to producing wines that express the unique character of Brunello, with careful vineyard management and a long aging process. Campogiovanni Brunello typically spends about two years in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by additional time in the bottle before release. This traditional aging process imparts complexity, elegance, and a harmonious balance to the wine. The producer focuses on crafting wines that are both approachable in their youth but capable of aging gracefully for decades.
