The WLB-460FLDs are the wine fridges we use at CoolerSomm in Wandsworth and are very attractive single zone freestanding or built-in units, programmable between 5-20°C that can be used as a storage or service wine cabinet. These units can also be built-in to your kitchen thanks to the front venting mechanism. These are the new, 2023 MIX edition units.
All shelving is crafted from mahogany and all of the shelves offer a display inclination. With all shelves mounted on display and incline this wine cooler can hold 140 bottles, with shelves flat 180 bottles and with shelves removed, 210 bottles. This is a stunning wine cabinet for the serious oenophile who wishes to keep their fine new world and old world wines at the perfect temperature for years to come.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
With a triple glazed UV resistant door, anti-vibration technology and winter heating as standard in the premium edition range, this wine cooler will protect your wine through daily and seasonal fluctuations in warm or cool climates. The Swisscave WLB-460FLD comes with a range of handles, or without a handle, to offer a perfectly centred symmetry for your kitchen, restaurant or bar and can be used as a freestanding or built-in wine cooler.
This wine fridge has an active carbon filter for longer term storage possibilities plus a lock on the door and an audible alarm if the temperature fluctuates meaning your wine collection is well protected. The anti-vibration shelves also ensure against any sediment disturbance. The "winter heating" function also protects against any dips in temperature in the room housing the wine cooler.

How many bottles will the SWISSCAVE WLB-460FLD-MIX hold?
This wine cooler holds 140 bottles on inclined mahogany display shelves, 180 with the shelves laid flat and 210 with most shelves removed.
The top and bottom shelves can be used to store larger bottle formats.
The best way to optimise space in your wine fridge is to stack the same bottle type (Bordeaux or Burgundy or Alsace for example) on the same shelves.
Can I pay for this wine fridge in instalments?

What are the Premier Care Packages?

Can I customise the SWISSCAVE WLB-460FLD to suit my needs?

What is the energy rating of this wine cooler?
Pre March 2021 this wine fridge had an energy efficiency rating of "A+" but with the changes to the efficiency scale this wine fridge now ranks "G". How do I install this wine cooler?
The Swisscave WLB-460FLD is a front venting wine fridge which means it can be used as either a freestanding wine cooler or have shelving around its sides as an undercounter wine fridge and fit neatly into your kitchen or restaurant design.
If you wish to build shelving or cabinets around your wine cooler it is always best to leave a small gap of at least 1cm to the rear of the unit. You will also need to consider that all SWISSCAVE units have a top panel that protrudes around 1.5cms.

Once an order is placed we will contact you immediately to confirm the order and then within a few working hours you'll receive the delivery survey from our logistics partner allowing you to pick an expedited (1-3 working days) delivery date. If you need delivery later than 1-3 days we can hold the unit until a suitable date for up to three months.
On the date of delivery we will give you a time slot when you can expect delivery and the driver will call one hour before arrival.

We provide a professional two-man delivery team who will deliver the wine cooler to the ground floor room of your choice, unpack, place your wine cooler in your desired spot and take the excess wrapping away.
